You Too
There is great beauty in nature.
Heart-stopping, soul-refreshing
beauty.
The gentle fingers of sunlight
upon window pane
speak this truth.
The quiet horse grazing
in the hillside meadow
whispers this tale into the living air.
Here is a secret, my friend,
an evening jewel for this train ride
into silvering twilight.
You too are part of nature’s warp and weft
and thus, you too
are a work of great beauty.
