Where Then Can I Go?

Peace, one and all…

May my heart always live
within Your blessed light,
and may every step
bring me closer to Your door.

May every choice
arise in goodness,
and may every mistake
return me to Your overflowing mercy.

Beloved, You are
and no other is with You.
Where then can I go, except
into Your life-giving embrace?

  1. Assalamu ‘alaykum dear akhee,
I’ve a question I have long wondered about. From where do you source those beautiful calligraphy images? Do you make them yourself or is there somewhere you can point me to find them?

    Lots of salams

  2. Wa alaikum salam Umm Yasmin,

Welcome! Long time, no see, so to speak. I hope you and the family are well, insha Allah. Haven’t seen anything of you online for ages, which is a shame – but life…eh!

Well, unfortunately, I don’t make them myself. I don’t possess that skill, though I would love to be able to. One day, insha Allah.

I’ve found them in all sorts of places. Here is one fabulous source: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ottomancalligraphy/

    Salams and love,

  3. Come, diligent students of life, let’s experience the overflowing mercy of our beloved God as we acknowledge and turn from our sins!

Holy God, may our earnest desire always be to live in order to honour your blessed compassionate life-giving presence.

Holy God, as we turn from evil, with your gracious help, we know that every step we take in glorifying you will bring us, with great joy, closer to Your unique door of truth!

May you continue to bless our lives so that every decision we make is motivatated by a desire to do good and faithfully honour your pure name!
