Peace, one and all…
We are the places where God hides
and sometimes shows Himself
in a glance
or a whisper,
a belly laugh
or a cry from the heart
which says
‘do not leave me too long out here
in case I lose You’
But you will never ever lose Him.
You are the fish in His sea,
the Sea of Him.
And when He wishes
He will pull you in.

Hi, I am from Australia. I came across your superb web-site while browsing
But does The Living Divine Reality really hide?
Please find an introduction to a Radiant Being who emphatically reveals otherwise.

Greetings of Peace to you John.
Welcome to my online home. Blessings to you.
Thank you for the links. I will explore them as soon as I have some free time.
Does the Divine Reality hide? No, I think it is really a matter of human perception – God is present in each new moment, behind each new event and phenomenon. God is utterly Transcendant and utterly Immanent all at the same time. Indeed, God is the very ground of all Being. The Quran puts it thus: ‘Wheresoever you turn, there is the Face of God’. Elsewhere, God is described in the Quran: ‘He is the First and the Last and the Manifest and the Hidden’ (57:3)
Welcome again.

God is a God who reveals Himself as a person who loves and forgives, and is not far off when contrite and repentant sinners are suffering.
God hides Himself in order to reveal Himself in weakness and suffering, and the cross. God suffers with them, suffers for them, has endured their suffering and even taken it on Himself.
Job endured the loss of his family, property, and friends, and from the dust shrieks to God, “I cry out to You, but You do not answer me; I stand up, and
You regard me. But You have become cruel to me; with the strength of Your hand You oppose me…. I know that You will bring me to death” [Job 30.20-23].
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him…(See Job 13:15)
Lamentations 3:22-23
22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
“Truly you are a God who hides himself, O God and Savior of Israel.” Isaiah 45:15
Why then does God hide Himself? So that He can show Himself even more gloriously in our suffering.God in Jesus suffers with us, suffers for us, has endured our suffering and even taken it on Himself.
