As-Salaamu `Alaykum,
Yes, the hour is approaching, and we know its approachment by its signs.
One of the signs of the hour is that men will increase their immitation of women and vice versa.
A few weeks ago in Philadelphia, PA, USA, 3 Muslims dressed up in jilbab and niqaab, then robbed a bank. One of the brothers killed a police officer then was killed himself.
I normally think of this sign as transexuals, cross dressers and homosexuals; however, Muslims dressing up like women to commit crimes is something new, at least in my mind.
Last year, a brother in Saudi Arabia dressed up like a sister during Ramadan and was caught in the sister’s section of the masjid during Taraaweeh by a woman that he had a crush on; he was arrested.
Earlier this month, a brother in a burka blew himself up at a market in Afghanistan, killing many civilians.
When we see “mosque going, jumu’ah prayer making Muslim men” dressing up like women to commit crimes, we know that people are becoming void of the spirit of Islam and the hour virtually upon us.
But ALLAH knows best.
Wassalaam

alSalaam alaykom,
For me the hour is death, always must try to make it first on my mind – it is one of the hardest of things to bring from the back of the mind – but it’s more imporatn to undertand this before the theology of signs. Taqwa is always a must in understaning – I do not care for signs really – they come, they go – but the important hour to remember is the last one, may Allah grant it be our best hour.
Taqwa, without it fitnah from signs becomes to easy – like our brothers the Christians who always date the last day and chage it year by year – all their talks of Armageddon should make it clear that fitnah is easy with it – but makes interesting movies
Signs look bad, do not worry they get worst, and even if they do not – you’ll die anyway, so learn to forgive, and accept – it’s then that Taqwa helps, it is what all the signs really mean in the end.
Peace
